It's the Little Things

This is a family team member in front of our booth at the Cincinnati Wedding Showcase. We had a lot of positive feedback from brides about the look and feel of our booth.

This is one of our bridal portraits printed on silk and handmade by family team members. We are a family business so we are excited to feature quality handmade photo gifts made by our loved ones from our house to yours. Weddings by Lyons Photography offers custom photo gifts. This could also be a creative DIY project if you wanted to make your own!

The Marmalade Lily, both a venue and a florist, generously gave this gorgeous bouquet for one of our display tables. It fit our brand as colorful, warm and inviting. We treasure our partnership with them.

This is a bridal portrait shot by Weddings by Lyons Photography at Ault Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. It's actually the family team member in the photograph above; yes, we photograph even our own family weddings!

Two special friends helped our family business, and they are like family, as they helped tea-stain the photo tags, and paint, and distress the wooden photo display. Anyone who visited our booth was very curious about the tags. See the first post on thephotomakery blog for the Photo Tag DIY.

Finally, this is a visual of what we offered in our packages at the Cincinnati Wedding Showcase. The wooden tags are part of our branding with our corporate logo, and our albums feature sturdy pages and showcase the images beautifully.

Vintage details like this can be nice additions to any wedding album. It just creates visual space for great storytelling and it's easy on the eyes.

This is a close up of the newly married couple looking through old love letters. Weddings by Lyons Photography took it to the next level and printed it out on book pages. We like telling your story in a creative and compelling way.

We printed our images on old book pages and it just made sense as this bride loves books and handwritten letters.

When we meet with couples over coffee for a wedding consultation, it is understandably a bit difficult to bring all the handmade items of thephotomakery so I am hoping the above images highlight those details, and what was featured in our booth at the #CincinnatiWeddingShowcase.  Everything on display from the canvases on our pallet display wall to the small photo tags (pictured in the center) to the silk photo pillow and the images printed on vintage book pages were created using the images that we have photographed at weddings.  The application of those images on fabric, paper craft, canvas or traditional images blends our love for photography and creating unique gifts.  Additionally, we make photo cards, and photo transfers on wood and metal.
